MM Vendors – Day Three

With a $1,3 million colt on Friday, Arrowfield Stud have surged clear on the leading vendors by aggregate list at the Magic Millions Yearling sale with total trade on 33 yearlings sold finishing a whisker off $10million, while Luskin Park lead by average.

Redoute's Choice colt from Ballet BlueArrowfield are having a great sale fuelled by the success of their champion sire Redoute's Choice and his top class sons Snitzel and Not a Single Doubt, not to mention newcomer Dundeel, who leads the freshman sires by average.

They bred and sold the top lot on Friday, a Redoute's Choice colt from Ballet Blue that made $1.3 million– read about him here.

Queensland based Aquis Farm have no further yearlings in Book I to be offered and are in tenth spot on the list with all 17 yearlings selling for $3,455,000 to give them 100% clearance.

Aquis Farm are the only non NSW based farm in the Top 10 by aggregate.

Leading the vendors by average list is Paul Whelan's Luskin Park having sold five yearlings for an average $492,000 with a cracking Snitzel colt from Ultimate Fever starring on Friday when selling for $925,000.

Luskin Park still have two horses to be offered, one on Saturday night and one on Sunday.

Strawberry Hill Stud are in second place and are finished for this year with six yearlings averaging $361,667. 

Their best result came on Friday with a Snitzel colt from Tallow fetching $650,000 to the bid of Jadeskye Racing/BK Racing/ Gerald Ryan.

South Australian based Mill Park have finished their run at this sale with all seven yearlings offered being sold at an average $280,000 putting them in ninth place.
