Third Winner for Your Song

Tara Madgwick - Sunday January 22
Widden Stud's Your Song sired his third winner on Saturday with a dazzling five length debut victory for Girl in a Million.

Your SongSent out a short priced favourite for the 1050 metre maiden at Toowoomba, the Ben Currie trained filly was a class above the opposition, leading throughout to win in a breeze.

Girl in a Million was a modest $15,000 Magic Millions National Yearling purchase for Mishani Enterprises from the Element Hill draft and is a half-sister to Group III placed Calming Influence.

She is the seventh winner for the good producing stakes-winner Calming, a daughter of Zeditave.

Your Song also had the runner-up in the two year-old race at Morphettville on Saturday with Jolie Rose finishing second as she did on debut earlier this month, so a win soon is surely coming her way.

A Group I winning son of Fastnet Rock, Your Song is the first of the young gun sires to post three Australian winners this season and has a draft of 13 for the upcoming Inglis Classic Yearling Sale, click here to see them.
