Inglis Race Series Heats Up

Inglis graduates will battle it out for $750,000 in prizemoney over the next three weeks as the $5,000,000 race series heats up for 2017.

The $250,000 Inglis Dash (1100m) at Flemington on January 28 will kick start three consecutive weeks of big prizemoney on offer for horses signed up to the lucrative Inglis Race Series.

She Will ReignIt's followed by the $250,000 Inglis Premier (1200m) at Caulfield on February 4 – specifically for Race Series entrants sold at last year's Melbourne Premier Sale – and the $250,000 Inglis Classic (1200m) at Randwick on February 11, for horses sold at last year's Classic sale.

The current race series started on Cox Plate Day last year with Azazel winning the Inglis Banner, while She Will Reign (Inglis Nursery) and Calanda (Inglis Sprint) enjoyed the big-money spoils at Randwick in December.

Golden Slipper second-favourite She Will Reign will tune up for the $3.5 million race via the Silver Slipper and Riesling Stakes'.

Nominations for Saturday's Inglis Dash close at midday Monday.
