Another Reset Stakes-Winner Sold by Mill Park

Renowned South Australian nursery Mill Park have had a great deal of success in selling the progeny of Darley quiet achiever Reset through the deeds of multiple Group I winners Fawkner and Rebel Raider and wrote another chapter of stakes success at Morphettville on Saturday with another of his sons in Mail It In.

A $50,000 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale purchase from the draft of Mill Park, the Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas trained Mail It In has been racing consistently right through the summer and broke through for a well-deserved Black Type win in the Listed SAJC Birthday Cup.

Sent out favourite and ridden a treat by Claire Lindop from barrier one, Mail It In raced right away to win the 2020 metre feature by three and three-quarter lengths.

A model of consistency, the four year-old has the impressive record of six wins and 14 placings from 28 starts with prizemoney topping $330,000.

The 31^st stakes-winner for Reset, Mail It In is a half-brother to Group III winner Daytona Grey and is one of seven winners from terrific producer Southern Rose, who sadly died last year.

The previous race at Morphettville on Saturday was also won by a Mill Park graduate with seven year-old Heart of a Lion still going strong to win his ninth race and take his earnings past the $300,000 mark.

A $42,000 Magic Millions Adelaide purchase his trainer Lloyd Kennewell, stakes-placed Heart of a Lion is a half-brother to Group I winner Happy Trails and Group III winner Danish Twist.

Mill Park are now set for a busy couple of weeks with a draft of six lovely youngsters for the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale and a further 14 for the Magic Millions Adelaide Yearling Sale.
