Oaklands Junction is open for business ahead of the 2017 Melbourne Premier Sale, with yearling parades well underway.

Progeny by more than 100 stallions – including 19 First Season Sires – will be offered throughout the four-day Premier sale, which has seen 771 horses catalogued for auction.

Of those, 507 are Super VOBIS-nominated yearlings and 439 are BOBS eligible.

The second of Inglis' Select Yearling Sales for the year will kick off at 12pm this Sunday, February 26, a day after the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield, in which Inglis graduates dominate betting.

The majority of yearling parades are now underway at Oaklands for prospective buyers searching for their next champion.

All yearlings offered at the sale are eligible for entry into the$5 million Inglis Race Series covering their 2YO, 3YO and 4YO racing seasons.

Sunday's action will again feature the popular Blue Riband session, where yearlings considered to have the pedigree and conformation to excel in their Classic Year and beyond have been specifically selected.

Sunday's action begins at midday while Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday begins at 10am.
