After a frustrating run of minor placings, Vinery Stud's 4-time Group I winner All Too Hard is on the board with his first winner coming at Tauherenikau on Sunday when the Lisa Latta-trained Lincoln Hills made a hugely impressive career debut over 1000 metres.
Ridden by Jonathan Riddell, Lincoln Hills tracked the early speed before showing an impressive turn of foot to defeat his more experienced stablemate Dreams Of Platinum (Dream Ahead) by two lengths with a further three lengths back to Allure (Lonhro) in third.
Purchased by Go Racing for $55,000 from the Baramul Stud draft at the 2016 Magic Millions National Yearling sale, Lincoln Hills is the fourth foal and first winner out of the unraced More Than Ready (USA) mare Hickory Hills.

All Too Hard (photo Mark Smith) has metropolitan place getters, Darhad, Groundbreak, Eclair Sunshine, Blackwolf Run, Reflectivity, Curdled, All Too Huiying and Newburgh in addition to the Group III ATC Widden Stakes runner-up Mystic Empire.
So the win by Lincoln Hills was not out of turn and we are expecting a flurry of winners by Black Caviar's half-brother at the back end of the season.
All Too Hard has 16 lots heading to the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling sale (View them here).
