Gavelhouse Australia graduate
Zetastar provided a quick return for his owners when breaking his maiden
at Dubbo on Sunday.
He jumped out quickly and travelled at the front of the 14-strong
field to take out the DubboRSL Health & Aquatic 3YO Maiden
Plate(1100m) for trainer Aleacia Bennett and his new ownership
group, making back quick money on his AU$16,500 purchase price when earning
AU$11,200.
Aleacia, who follows the gavelhouse.com Australia fortnightly auctions and
praises the user-friendliness of the site, said "He immediately stood out
to me and after some research I decided he was the one."
"When I purchased him I knew he wasn't city class but he showed on Sunday
he is one to watch out for on the country circuit and we aim to stretch out the
distance further into his prep."
"The horse was offered for sale unreserved so it was clear the owners were
genuinely selling and he arrived in fantastic order and is just the best horse
to deal with."
"The way he has been educated and the condition he arrived in is a credit
to the Chris Waller Stable."
Sold on account of Champion Trainer and regular gavelhouse.com Australia
user Chris Waller Racing, the Northern Meteor gelding was sold as a lightly
raced three year old and looks to have plenty more in store for his new owners
now that he's found his mark in an easier racing environment.
Entries are now open for the next Gavelhouse.com Australia fortnightly auction
and close on Monday 1 May ay 7pm AEDT. The catalogue will be launched online at
5pm on Tuesday 2 May with bidding set to close from 7pm on Monday 8 May.
