Armidale Stud Announce Fees

Media Release - Friday April 28
Leading Tasmanian nursery Armidale Stud have announced service fees for their 2017 stallion roster headlined by their latest addition ALPINE EAGLE whose fee has been set at $7,700 including GST.

ALPINE EAGLE (pic below) has been carefully selected to stand alongside the exciting young stallion NEEDS FURTHER and the ever consistent TOUGH SPEED to give breeders the finest assembly of athleticism, physique and pedigree ever offeredin a Tasmanian stallion line up.

To reinforce Armidale's commitment to offer breeders the highest quality stallions at value for money, the Whishaw family have sourced the explosive Group 2 winner and Group1 placed ALPINE EAGLE.

The magnificent son of HIGH CHAPARRAL is the highest profile galloper to ever retire to stud in Tasmania and is expected to attract support from astute interstate breeders.

"Alpine Eagle was an absolutely sensational racehorse with untapped ability. He's a horse with an amazing presence and an exceptional athletic physique. He is without a doubt one of the best horses that I have ever trained. He had freakish talent which he displayed but it is a tragedy that the public didn't get to see how good he actually was," said McEvoy
