Foxwedge
might be the first of the second season sires to $3million in earnings, but So
You Think is hot on his tail and added an impressive winner to his tally at
Kembla on Tuesday.
Prepared by Gerald Ryan, three year-old filly Fournette had raced well at her
first two runs this preparation for a second and fourth and was sent out favourite
for the 1500 metre maiden.
She relished the longer trip and powered to the line to win by nearly three
lengths.
Not offered at auction, Fournette is the third winner from Group III placed US
Import I Promise and is the 35th Australian winner of the season for
So You Think, who stands at Coolmore this spring at a fee of $60,500.
