"Last year we sold two weanlings that went on to make great money for their new owners and I believe this year's draft offers similar opportunities for the savvy investor," said Toby Liston.
"The horses we offer as weanlings have been well grown and had the right start to life at Three Bridges, so it's never a surprise when they turn into serious money."
Last year Three Bridges sold a Choisir colt from Malbun for $80,000 that went on to make $225,000 as a yearling at Magic Millions when bought by Star Thoroughbreds / Chris Waller.
Also an I Am Invincible filly from Honest Polly that made $55,000 and was then re-sold at Magic Millions where she fetched $260,000 when knocked down to Malua Bloodstock.

Lot 215 Colt Unencumbered x Catastrophe
Very strong and forward type as the stallion and dam pedigree would suggest. A real Magic Millions type. Catastrophe's sister Hoss Amor produced one of the best yearlings this year (a colt by Medaglia D'Oro) that sold accordingly for $2.4million at Inglis Easter. From a f amily on the rise.
Lot 278 Colt All Too Hard x Flamingo Dancer
A lovely balanced loose walking colt. The beauty is that he gets you into any sale as an athlete and was born a lovely animal and that will never change. A really strong pin hook potential, but more importantly a good future racehorse.
Lot 381 Filly Unencumbered x Malbun
Lovely leggy and mature early born foal. She is correct, like last year's colt that made their new owners all the money. The dam is a city winner and has produced a handy horse already in Kent.
Lot 843 Colt Brazen Beau x Pintle
This mare leaves lovely foals every year that can run also I might add Brazen Beau is clearly one of the stand out young stallions early in 2017 – with both his colts selling for $300,000 and $275,000 at the Gold Coast National Weanling Sale.
The Three Bridges draft features eight weanlings by the farm's young sire Unencumbered, who may be on the cusp of a big upward swing.
"He served more mares in his third year than his first two seasons – a real buck against the trend, but the most pleasing response already is that yearling buyers are coming back to buy them as weanlings this week because they are showing all the right signs on the racetrack," Toby Liston revealed.
"At the end of the day, he was the most dominant two year old colt of his year winning $1.9million and five races, so it certainly won't surprise if his progeny can replicate his early success on the racetrack.
"Astute buyers will be aware that it's the perfect time to buy an Unencumbered. I would call it an educated guess from some good judges in the game. "
