Eight Winners for Golden Archer

Raheen Stud's young sire Golden Archer was a brilliant two year-old and it's been no surprise to see him produce a flurry of early winners with Golden Guardian adding to the tally with a Townsville victory on Tuesday.

Fourth and third at his first two starts, Golden Guardian improved at the third time of asking to win the 1200 metre maiden by a length and three-quarters.

The third winner from Danzero mare Shamsie, Golden Guardian is the eighth winner from 23 runners for Golden Archer, a slick juvenile Group III winner by Rock of Gibraltar (IRE).
