Stewards scratch three horses from Monday's Moe meeting

Stewards ordered the withdrawal of three runners from a Mornington stable from Monday's Moe meeting.

Alsimon, Tarpeia and Rexmont were all scratched from their respective races after stewards received a report from Racing Victoria's Compliance Assurance Team on Monday morning.

The CAT members inspected trainer Clive Balfour's stable and reported to stewards, who scratched the horses before opening an into the matter on Monday.

Balfour gave evidence to stewards via telephone before the inquiry was adjourned.
