The Factor Headed to Japan

Dashing grey shuttler The Factor (USA) is currently covering in Australia for Newgate Farm, but will then travel to the Japan Bloodhorse Breeders' Association Farm in Japan for the 2018 breeding season on a one-year lease.

The FactorThe Lane's End stallion, owned by George Bolton, Stonestreet and Fog City Stables, is a leading second-crop sire in North America, with $US3,690,740 in cumulative earnings.

He has sired seven black-type winners and 11 black-type horses, including Group I Chandelier Stakes winner Noted and Quoted.

"The JBBA expressed an interest in standing The Factor on a one-year lease in 2018," Bolton said.

"We are excited to offer The Factor's impressive bloodlines to Japan and we look forward to his return to Lane's End in 2019."

A dual Group I winning son of champion sire War Front, The Factor will have his first two yearold runners in Australia this season and stands at a fee of $11,000.
