Tassort Filly to Star for Twin Hills in Adelaide

Sponsored Content - by Tara Madgwick - Thursday March 14

Olly and Amber Tait have had a busy start to the year selling at Magic Millions on the Gold Coast and Inglis Premier in Melbourne under their Twin Hills Stud banner and the show now rolls into the Adelaide Magic Millions (March 18 and 19) where their draft of eight features one of only two fillies in the sale by exciting young sire Tassort.

With five first crop winners on the board already including a Golden Slipper contender in Group II winning filly Manaal and stakes prospect Ameena, Tassort is a young sire well and truly on the radar and Lot 277 is a very attractive filly that will have her admirers.

She is the third foal of unraced Sebring mare Vee, a half-sister to stakes-winner Terror Force that has had two winners from her first two foals to race and interestingly she is bred on a proven G1 nick.

Group I winning two year-old and Karaka Million winner On the Bubbles is by Tassort’s sire Brazen Beau from a daughter of Sebring.

Another real head-turner in the Twin Hills draft is Lot 47, a flashy chestnut colt by Arrowfield Stud’s well credentialed first season sire Admire Mars (Jpn) from Group III placed proven stakes producer Kushnarenkovo (GB), a daughter of legendary sire Sadler’s Wells.

The colt is a half-brother to German stakes-winner Kosmische and two more stakes-placed horses as well as the dam of Group I winners Best Solution, who won a Caulfield Cup, and El Bodegon.

With two dams on the page this colt has an elite European female pedigree mixed with high class Japanese bloodlines to deliver a colt with untapped potential.
