Handsome Your Song Colt Wins Again

Tara Madgwick - Saturday December 30
The Triple Crown colours were carried to victory at Randwick on Saturday by promising Your Song colt Brave Song, a $67,500 Inglis Classic purchase from the Yarraman Park draft, so there will be no Magic Millions race day for him.

The Peter and Paul Snowden trained Brave Song looked impressive when winning at Canterbury at his first run back from a spell and kept up the good work with a stylish half length win in the Benchmark 80 event over 1200 metres beating older horses.

Brave Song returns to scaleWith three wins and a second from just five starts, Brave Song (images Steve Hart) has already won over $151,000 in prizemoney and looks well placed to continue progressing over the summer.

"We're off season at the moment but we're starting to head into the carnival so something will have to be mapped out in the next six weeks or so," Snowden said.

"At the moment while he's still in good form and there's races around for him, we'll keep him going.

"Physically he's there but he's just got to put it all together and be the full package."

Bred and offered for sale by Yarraman Park, Brave Song is the third winner for Brave Choice, a sibling to Group II winner Brave Prince and stakes-winner Valourina, the dam of Group winners Media, Timbourina.

Your Song has five entries for Magic Millions and 14 for Inglis Classic.
