A new Frankel milestone

Unbeaten champion Frankel has made a successful start to his stud career and following the win of Simply Brilliant at Sha Tin on Sunday has winners in 12 countries already.

FrankelSimply Brilliant raced in Great Britain as Senator for Richard Fahey where he won his first two races.

On Sunday the four-year-old won the last race of the day, a class three handicap over 1400m under Zac Purton having been placed at his four previous starts in Hong Kong.

From three crops of racing age Frankel has sired winners in Great Britain, Ireland, France, Germany, Japan, North America, Australia, Argentina, Chile, South Africa, the UAE and now Hong Kong.

Frankel (pictured) has sired 20 stakes winners to date, headed by Group I winners Cracksman and Soul Stirring.

His fee in 2018 at Banstead Manor Stud in England is advertised at £175,000.
