Inference is the first foal out of classy Redoute's Choice sprinter Pontiana
who was placed in the Group 2 Dane Ripper Stakes as well as three other stakes
races.
Out of a Redoute's Choice mare just like Zoustar, Sacred Falls, Ace
High, D'Argento etc. this provided Inference with enough speed to place 2nd on
debut at Sandown behind Highland Beat before winning as a 2YO at his next
outing. Inference went on to become one of the best 3YO's of his generation
where his Group 1 victory was joined by two other Group 1 placings.
The quality of Inference's pedigree was noted by the purchase of his half
brother (by Pierro) for $1,050,000 at the 2018 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale. View
