Entries Closing for MM Perth Features Today

Media Release - Monday February 6

Owners and trainers are reminded that entries for the two feature Magic Millions races in Perth this Saturday close on Tuesday morning at 9,30am (WA time).

The $250,000 Magic Millions 2YO Classic and the $100,000 R.M.Williams Magic Millions 3YO Trophy will be run at Ascot on Saturday.

Both will be used as important lead up races to feature events both in Perth and also in the Eastern States.

It is interesting to note that the first and second placegetters in last year's 3YO Trophy - Playing God and Luckygray - were both subsequent Group One winners later in the year.

Playing God showed he was on track for a good campaign interstate with a strong trial win this morning over fellow topliners Ranger and King Saul.
