A promising
win at Gosford on Thursday for talented Anabaa (USA) filly Annabels has brought
a timely pedigree date for her yearling half-brother headed to the 2012 Inglis
Premier Yearling Sale.
Injured in her first race two weeks ago, when she featured in the steward's report, the Joe
Pride trained Annabels bounced back from that disappointing effort to score a
stylish three quarter length win in the 1100 metre maiden.
A $90,000 purchase for Dermot Farrington from the Widden draft at the 2010
Magic Millions Yearling Sale, Annabels rusn for the Canning Downs Stud Syndicate and is the first foal and first winner from young
stakes-winner Cianara.
The second living foal for Cianara, a filly by Stratum will be offered byWidden as Lot 458 at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale at the end of the month.
