He's
to be offered as part of the Lloyd Williams Reduction of stock at the Inglis
Select Thoroughbred Sale on March 2 and last night at Moonee Valley he cast off
maiden status with a five and a half length win.
Three year-old Al Maher (pictured) gelding Accrual was sent out hot favourite for the 1519
metre maiden and never gave punters cause for concern as he raced up on the
pace for Steven King before dashing away to win as he pleased.
Prepared by Robert Hickmott, Accrual has been lightly raced with only three
previous runs yielding two seconds.
A $150,000 purchase from the Emirates Park draft at the 2010 Inglis Austra;ian
Easter Yearling Sale, Accrual is a half-brother to stakes-placed Shaan and
seven other winners including the dam of superstar filly Atlantic Jewel.
He will be offered at the sale as Lot 4 and for more information on the whole draft
