More Caviar to Come

Tara Madgwick - Monday February 13

Black Caviar is one of the most famous horses in the world and for those who are keen to know more about this equine superstar and where she came from, you need to read on and don't miss this week's edition of Thoroughbreds tonight at 7,30 pm on TVN.

Caroline Searcy was in Victoria last week filming for Thoroughbreds with a visit to Gilgai Farm to meet Helsinge, the dam of Black Caviar, at the top of the list.

10 year-old Helsinge is a picture of health as you can see from these pictures and her colt foal by Redoute's Choice is quite the character.

While at Gilgai Farm, Caroline interviewed Meaghan Strickland-Wood, who foaled down Black Caviar back in 2006.

Gilgai Farm will offer 11 yearlings at the 2012 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale consigned on their behalf by Makybe.

Don't miss Thoroughbreds tonight at 7.30 pm on TVN.
