Australian bred two year-olds Indaba My Children and Ottimo filled the quinella in the juvenile event at Greyville in South Africa on Friday.
Both were making their debut in the 1000 metre dash with the Charles Laird trained Indaba My Children drawing clear to win by two and three-quarter lengths over Ottimo (2c Oratorio (IRE) x Figure of Eight (Fr).
The winner (pictured as a yearling) is by Tale of the Cat (USA) from Hampton Rover (USA) and was a $40,000 purchase for Livestock Traders from the Rosemont Stud draft at the 2011 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale.
He is the third winner from three to race for Hampton Rover, who is a US bred daughter of champion Australian filly and Horse of the Year, Research.
