class sire Street Cry (IRE) was represented by his 55th stakes-winner overnight when
Darley homebred Falls of Lora took out the Group III UAE Oaks at Meydan.
Racing in the blue colours of the Godolphin Stable, Falls Of Lora, came from
off the pace to win her first stakes event, her overall record now three wins
from seven starts.
Falls Of Lora was bred in Ireland and is a half-sister to stakes-winner Etive from
a stakes-winning Danehill mare Firth of Lorne.
Firth Of Lorne also has a New Approach
yearling of 2012 and a 2012 Iffraaj
colt by her side.
Street Cry is the sire of 55 stakes-winners, 13 of them at Group I level led by
champion mare Zenyatta, Melbourne Cup winner Shocking and Street Sense (USA) ,
Street Boss (USA) and Street Hero (USA), the latter three all with yearlings
selling at sales in Australia this year.
Street Cry (pictured) himself has no yearlings for Inglis Premier following the withdrawal
of his only entry, but has 17 yearlings to be offered at the Inglis Easter yearling
sale which include a half-brother to Melbourne Cup winner Makybe Diva.
