The Ingham family spent up big at the 2008 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale splashing out $17,8 million on 23 horses, one of which is Dystopia, who won the Listed ATC Triscay Stakes at Rosehill on Saturday.
A full sister to Golden Slipper winner and successful sire Stratum, by Redoute's Choice from Bourgeois, Dystopia produced the best run of her career to snatch a half head win in the 1200 metre sprint from fast finishing Alberton Park.
Prepared by Chris Waller, Dystopia has been handled patiently and worked her way through the grades, her overall record now five wins and nine placings from 20 starts with prizemoney of $325,230.
An $800,000 purchase, Dystopia (pictured as a yearling) was bred and offered for sale by Reavill Farm and is the second stakes-winner for Bourgeois, who had a colt by Fastnet Rock last spring.
She is the 83rd stakes-winner for Arrowfield Stud's champion sire Redoute's Choice, whose classy daughter No Looking Back ran a gallant second in the Group I MRC Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield.
Redoute's Choice has five entries for the Ingls Premier Yearling Sale next week.
