The Chris Waller-trained Nocturnelle was beaten 3-1/2 lengths when fourth first-up in the Listed Triscay Stakes (1200m) on a heavy surface at Warwick Farm on February 23 then last Saturday she finished last in a seven-horse field in the Wiggle Stakes.
Nocturnelle was beaten 11 lengths by Steps in Time over the Warwick Farm 1400-metre course prompting jockey Glyn Schofield to report the mare is "not going well".
Waller is backing up the stakes-winning daughter of Elusive Quality in Saturday's Listed Aspirations Quality over 1600 metres with Hugh Bowman replacing Schofield.
