"I reckon she is going to run a trip, all these Sebrings are going to run a trip," Mick Kent said.
Kent said the Group III VRC Vanity Stakes (1400 m) at Flemington in two weeks' time is next for Scratchy Bottom with the Group II Sunline Stakes (1600 m) at Moonee Valley on March 21 also a distinct possibility.
Her ultimate goal if all goes well will be the $400,000 Group I Australasian Oaks (2000 m) at Morphettville on April 26.
"She is still really a baby. I'm not sure how she is going to cope with it." Kent added.
A $120,000 Inglis Easter purchase for Dermot Farrington Bloodstock from the draft of Reavill Farm, Scratchy Bottom runs in the all black colours of Gilgai Farm's Rick Jamieson, who is of course famous as the breeder of Black Caviar and All Too Hard.
She is the fourth winner from Group II placed Silk Veil, a sister to stakes-winner Danasia, the dam of Group I STC Rosehill Guineas winner Zabrasive.
The current yearling from Silk Veil is another filly by Sebring that will be offered by Cornerstone Stud as Lot 553 at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale next month.
