Sebring Blue-Blood Salutes

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday April 16
Sebring has been riding the crest of a winning wave with three more winners on Wednesday, one of which is from a very special mare.

SebringSebring tasted success at Randwick with Takewing and Sandown with Bring Back, but it was the win of Iseemagic at Arawa Park in New Zealand that would have caught the eye of breeding buffs.

The Graeme Rogerson trained three year-old filly is the latest winner for exceptional producer Monroe Magic, who has left Group I winners Headturner, Anacheeva and O'Marilyn as well as Group II winner Kroner.

Having her second run back from a spell, Iseemagic forged clear to win the 1400 metre maiden by more than two lengths at her fourth start.

A $130,000 NZB Premier purchase from the draft of Whakanui Stud, Iseemagic is the sixth winner from eight foals to race for minor winning Zabeel mare Monroe Magic, who has proven a superstar at stud.

Sebring has soared to new heights this season with Group I winners Dissident (Randwick Guineas) and Criterion ( ATC Australian Derby, Rosehill Guineas) delivering him with a rare success in the 3YO Triple Crown.
