2009 Breednet Foal Gallery Reader’s Choice Winner

Polling closed last night to decide the this year’s Reader’s Choice foal from the 2009 Breednet Foal Gallery with one charismatic youngster garnering almost a third of the vote.

The foal photo in question was sent in by Swettenham Stud in Victoria and features a filly bred by David Bentata from the first crop of Group One winning sprinter Soldier’s Tale (USA) from Macy Dee, a winning mare by Langfuhr (Can) from the stakes-winner Green Diamond.

 

“Yes interesting photo! This filly was impressed with her ability to move and enjoyed the freedom of the stallion parade ring to really show off,” said Ian Rimington of Swettenham Stud.

“Overall the stallion has some really good sorts as evidenced repeatedly in other photos we have from his first crop.”
