Macquarie Stud's young sire Power of Destiny might not be the height of commercial fashion, but he has sired three winners in the past week, two year-old gelding Angel's Destiny bringing up the hat-trick at Wyong on Thursday for his owner breeder Nick Moraitis.
Trained by Neville and Chris Voigt at Randwick, Angel's Destiny was third on debut at Wyong two weeks ago and improved on that effort to take the 1350 metre maiden by a length at his second start.
A homebred for Mr Moraitis, Angel's Destiny is the first winner for the minor winning Langfuhr (Can) mare Abergavenny Angel, whose current yearling, a colt by Power of Destiny will be offered as Lot 515 at the Inglis Bloodstock Sale on Friday.
Angel's Destiny is the 10th winner from just 29 runners for stakes-placed Danehill (USA) son Power of Destiny, whose oldest progeny are three year-olds.
