Queensland's leading
thoroughbred farm, Glenlogan Park, will hold its 2012 Open Day and Stallion
Parade on Sunday, August 19.
The gates will open at 2.30pm, with the afternoon to be hosted by exceptionally
popular racing identity Wayne Wilson. Special guest speakers will include the
Chairman of Racing Queensland Limited Kevin Dixon, as well as boom young
stallion Rothesay's trainer in Gerald Ryan.
Many of Queensland's leading trainers will also attend – and have offered to
make themselves available to anyone who is interested in finding out more about
racing.
A fantastic prize will also greet one fortunate breeder, as a lucky door draw
will be held for those in attendance, with the winner having the wonderful
opportunity to send their mare to a Glenlogan Park stallion of their choice for
free in the 2012 season.
Registration for a chance to win the stallion service will close promptly at
3.10pm, with the stallion parade scheduled to begin just before 3.30pm and the
lucky winner to be announced immediately thereafter.
Light refreshments will be available and, for anyone wishing to attend,
please RSVP with their name and the number of people via any of the methods
outlined below before 4pm Wednesday August 15.
