Emirates Park's exciting first season sire
Dream Ahead (USA) has arrived at
the outfit's Murrurundi headquarters inreadiness for a busy weekend and a very active four months of
covering waiting ahead.
Fresh from a hugely successful initial northern hemisphere covering season at Ballylinch Stud in Ireland, Dream
Ahead (USA) took little time in
settling into his new environment and appears in great shape after fulfilling his quarantine requirements.
Emirates Park nominations manager Bryan Carlson reported: "It's very exciting to see him arrive on the property.
He is exactly how I thought he
would be — an outstanding looking horse!"
Carlson added: "It's also great to see him in such good shape as he has his first inspections booked for early on
Thursday morning. As you'd expect
from a horse of his calibre, the interest in Dream Ahead has been very strong and there are plenty of
breeders booked to inspect him
over the coming weekend."
Emirates Park is operating an Open House policy over the next
handful of days with breeders
visiting the Hunter Valley for the various 2012 stallion parades welcome to call into the
stud to inspect Dream Ahead
firsthand.
Visiting hours are between 9.00am and 4.00pm each day through to Monday afternoon. All the stud
requires is advanced notice of any
intended visit.
"We are keen to have as many genuine breeders as possible stop by to
inspect Dream Ahead, or any other stallion on the roster for that
matter. Our line-up has something for everyone and they won't be
disappointed."
