Kooringal Stud Open Day

Kooringal Stud is hosting a 2012 Stallion Parade and Open Day from 11 am on Sunday, September 9, and would like to invite you, your family and friends to inspect what the stud has to offer.

The centre of attention will be the Kooringal Stud 2012 stallion roster, consisting of ALERT (Arg), KRUPT, ZARIZ and the exciting first season sire SHRAPNEL. The quartet will be paraded soon after proceedings get underway.

Other attractions on the day will include a demonstration of foal handling using the Control-A-Foal harness, and coach tours of the property to inspect Kooringal Stud's significant number of grazing options and extensive range of facilities. Light refreshments will be provided during the course of the day.

Background information
I Kooringal Stud has been in the care of the Lamont family since 1910.
I Four generations of Lamonts have been hands-on running of the stud.
I The stud's first stallion was Kerry Piper (GB) in the mid-1950s.
I Recent sires include Mr Henrysee (USA) and Bureaucracy (NZ).
I The stud comprises of 2500 acres surrounded by approx. 40,000 trees.
I Paddocks vary in size from two hectares to 60 hectares.
I Agistment charges start from just $14+GST per day.

Directions
Kooringal Stud is located 20 kms north of Wagga Wagga off the Olympic Way. Turn right into Harefield Road just past the Wallacetown Rest Area and drive for 2.5kms to find the property's main entrance.
