Don’t Miss This Race
Tara Madgwick - Monday, 3 September 2012

This horse will create a lot of interest when he runs this afternoon at Wagga in race two and not because of his ability, it's all about his amazing looks!.

Three year-old colt Framed in History (pictured at his stable earlier this year) is making his debut from the Paul Murray stable and is one of a handful of rare coloured thoroughbreds.

Bred by Winning Colours Farm, who also stand his coloured thoroughbred sire Profile in Style (USA), Framed in History has had one barrier trial at Kembla and will jump from barrier six with Kevin Sweeney on board.

Framed in History is the first foal of Heleray, a minor winner by Bletchalot.

He is also the first runner for his sire Profile in Style, an unraced great grand-son of Halo.

A spectacular individual, Profile in Style (pictured below) stands at a fee of $4,200 and has covered five small books of mares.

Tune in to watch at 1.33 pm and click here for the race form.

Footnote - The fairytale result failed to materialise, but Framed in History did beat at least one horse home.
