The Listed MRC Inglis Debutants Stakes at Caulfield on Wednesday was won in exciting style by dashing grey filly Villa Verde, who comes from the family of Golden Slipper winners Ha Ha and Rory's Jester.
The Shaun Dwyer trained daughter of Not a Single Doubt showed ability with an easy barrier trial win at Tatura earlier this month and ran up to that form in overpowering a smart field to win the 1000 metre dash by a length and a quarter in a slick 57.23 seconds.

She (pictured Racepix Vic) jumped well for Michael Rodd and sat just behind the leaders Overreach and Kuroshio, before surging clear to post an impressive win, clocking faster time than the previous race won by unbeaten three year-old filly Isabella Snowflake, who is also by Not a Single Doubt.
"She's really professional," said Michael Rodd.
"Shaun told me about her a few months ago and said he hoped I'd be able to ride her. She pinged from the gates and followed the leaders, then accelerated really well to the line."
Shaun Dwyer was also delighted with the performance.
"I haven't had one like her since Reggie (Regimental Girl)," he declared.
Former brilliant two year-old Regimental Gal was the horse that put Dwyer on the map winning the 2003 Magic Millions 2YO Classic before going on to claim Group I victories in the VRC Lightning Stakes and MVRC Australia Stakes.
Villa Verde (pictured as a yearling) was purchased by Dwyer for $95,000 from the draft of Kiah Glenn at the 2012 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale and is raced by long time clients Mike Buys and Rob Willis, who were both on hand to greet their filly back to scale.
A half-sister to Group III placed Miss Sharapova, Villa Verde is the sixth winner from six to race for Young and Free, a metropolitan winning daughter of Kenmare (Fr) from the family of Rory's Jester, Ha Ha and Caulfield Cup winner Southern Speed.
At age 19, Yougn and Free was not covered last spring, but does have a yearling colt by Any Given Saturday (USA).
Villa Verde is the 11th stakes-winner for Arrowfield Stud's Not a Single Doubt, who looks to have another potential stakes-winner on the horizon in Isabella Snowflake, who scored a dominant win in the first race on the program to give her sire an early double.
