A lucrative Inglis Bonus is on offer at Gosford's provincial meeting this Sunday, as the racing industry continues enjoying an exciting Spring Carnival.
A $50,000 Bonus will be paid by Inglis to connections should the winner of Race 3 – One Com Inglis Bonus (3YO BM 65 Handicap, 1600m) be nominated to the Inglis Race Series.
Six horses in the final field of eight are eligible to receive the $50,000 Inglis Bonus in Sunday's race, and will be identified by wearing an Inglis blue saddlecloth. Some lucky connections could walk away with $67,250 with the combined Inglis Bonus, first place prizemoney and BOBS Bonus available for eligible horses.
Top-weight in the field is the Neville Layt trained gelding Red Excitement (Excites – Red Obsession, by Red Ransom). The son of Vinery Stud Stallion, Excites, is having his fourth start this preparation stepping up in distance. Aghamore (More Than Ready – Nakedindaspa, by Redoute's Choice) trained by Todd Howlett has drawn a sharp barrier and carries a minimum weight to contest the bonus, this colt is the highest purchase price of the Inglis Graduate runners.
