Rangal
Park's young sire Danerich posted his second stakes-winner at Morphettville on
Saturday where four year-old mare Classy Chloe scored a tenacious win in the
Listed SAJC Durbridge Stakes.
Trained at Murray Bridge by John Hickmott, Classy Chloe overcame an outside
draw to score a nose win in the 1200 metre sprint and will no doubt be headed
back across to Melbourne to target further Black Type over the carnival.
Passed in as a yearling and retained to race by her breeder Dr Chris Gliddon in
partnership with several other owners including her trainer, Classy Chloe has
been a model of consistency winning five races and placing five times from 11
starts with prizemoney in excess of $200,000.
Classy Chloe is the best of three winners from Capital Growth, an unraced
half-sister by Brocco (USA) to Group II winner Hey Pronto.
Capital Growth went back to Danerich twice after producing Classy Chloe and has
two more full brother to the stakes-winner in the pipeline aged two and three.
Classy Chloe is the second stakes-winner for Danerich, a Group III winning
sprinter by champion sire Danehill (USA) from former brilliant Rubiton filly
Millrich.
He stands at Rangal Park a fee of $5,500 and is the sire of 35 winners with his
oldest progeny just four year-olds.
