That was my first question when this foal came in to our Breednet Foal Gallery last week and now Christie Woodard has revealed the answer.

Filly Jayemzed x Canicula.
Christie Woodard of Yallambee Stud
writes - We get bogged down with stallion selection, genetics, pedigrees
conformation and type. We are bombarded with fancy (and often clever) marketing
of stallions and breeding farms alike not to mention the myriad of advisors;
bloodstock agents, pedigree and mating specialists and of course your mates
with big opinions and little knowledge who are not know to be putting their
hands into their own pockets!
Then there are others, who are in the game for the sheer joy of breeding
horses. These people just want to be part of their horse's lives carefully
nurturing and watching them grow from foal to racehorse. To see their
youngsters get to the track and have a win they are rewarded with unequivocal
joy. They Dare To Dream that one day something special will come along.
It's all about the journey, nothing more, and nothing less.
We have had the pleasure of meeting many people in the past. With thanks to
Ralph and Peta Zito we are now personally touched by their journey and more
specifically the story of their stallion, Jayemzed. (Pictured below) .
