50 for Magnus

Media Release - Monday November 16

Leading Victorian based sire by winners, MAGNUS has notched up winner #50 for the 2020/21 season – placing him 7th overall on the national premiership.

After producing 10 stakes horses last season – Group 1 Futurity winner, Streets of Avalon among them – MAGNUS hasn’t missed a beat since August.

Following on from his metropolitan treble last Monday, MAGNUS has sired 10 winners in 7 days: including the flying chestnut, Kemalpasa, who won his 4th black type victory in Saturday’s Group 3 Kevin Heffernan Stakes at Sandown.

Kemalpasa has now won 11 races and $830,750 in stakes and he is just one of well over 100 MAGNUS runners who have captured in excess of $100k!

In fact, Kemalpasa is looming ever closer to becoming the 8th ‘millionaire’ for MAGNUS, who also has 4 Group 1 winners, 45 stakes horses, 68% winners to runners, and over $47 million in progeny earnings.

Magnus represents great value!

At a fee of just $15,400 inc. GST – with no payment until live foal – MAGNUS is the best value stallion standing at stud in Victoria!
