Fee Unchanged on Per Incanto

Media Release - Friday April 7

Little Avondale Stud have announced that the 2017 service fee for their leading sire Per Incanto (Street Cry-Pappa Reale by Indian Ridge) will remain at $15,000 plus GST.

Per IncantoNZ's leading sire of three-year-old individual winners in 2015/16, defeating Savabeel for the title, currently lies second to the Waikato Stud colossus for the same honours in 2016/17.

Saracino, who will attempt to win his fourth Group 2 event for the season and his second in Australia when he lines-up in the Group 2 Arrowfield Sprint at Randwick on Saturday, has been the standout performer for his sire in the three-year-old division. The likes of 1000 Guineas place getter Sweepstake, Listed winner Its Time For Magic and exciting sprinter Don Carlo are an excellent supporting cast.

Per Incanto's popularity with breeders and buyers alike was again in evidence at Karaka in 2017. Leading sire by average at Festival, third at Select, the 21 yearlings to sell by the group winning sprinting son of Street Cry averaged $81,000.

With an unprecedented increase in broodmare quality following the racetrack exploits of his first two crops, breeders who use Per Incanto in 2017 will be well positioned to capitalise when the resulting progeny of this quality uplift begin gracing Australasian racetracks from 2018/19.

Stablemate Nadeem ( Redoutes Choice – It's Candide) sire of Magic Millions Sprint winner Target In Sight and also the emerging three year old stayers Redeem The Dream and Karavali, will stand at an unchanged fee of $6,500 plus GST
