Magic Draft for Chatsworth Park
Tara Madgwick - Thursday, 11 May 2017
The team at Hunter Valley nursery Chatsworth Park are well placed for a busy foaling season and are also headed to the Gold Coast next month with four lovely youngsters to be offered at the 2017 Magic Millions National Yearling Sale.

Kym and Karen Justin of Chastworth Park are very excited to announce that we now have a Resident Veterinarian on the farm with Dr Orla Roan now joining our team.

Orla comes with great experience and we are very fortunate to have her services.

Veterinary back up, Surgery, Pharmaceutical and Hospitalisation will be provided by Scone Equine.

Sadly this exciting news was an outcome prompted by the resignation of Dr Rachel O'Higgins who has decided to move to Victoria. Rachel was with Dartbrook Equine for five years and during that time always treated our farm as her own and did an outstanding job for us and will be missed on many levels by all of us.

Work is well under way for the relocation of our Foaling Unit to the southern farm.

10 new foaling yards with 10 new nine day yards are under construction as well as a new elevated watch room and facilities. All yards will be irrigated and floodlit.

Our Magic Millions yearlings are progressing well through their preparations and we look forward to presenting them at the Gold Coast.
