The top bets from The Armchair Punter for Saturday May 20

Stephen Brassel - Saturday May 20

Again spreading my selections wide with a long odds selection at Morphettville and a couple of good bets at Rosehill and Flemington.

The Armchair Punter is giving this bloke a big chance in Saturday's Goodwood at Morphettville.

INDERNILE (Flemington Race 1 No 3)
Really liked the way he fought on after a tough run at Caulfield last time out finishing fourth behind Kobayashi with the highly touted Doubt I'm Dreaming third. Was stuck deep but never shirked his task fighting all the way to the line. That was his first run back from a spell and drawn perfectly in barrier one I can see him settling just behind the speed and enjoying a cosy run to the turn. Suited out to 1400m for the first time he'll be very hard to hold out.
BET: WIN
ODDS: $6.50 @ Sportsbet ($7.50 PowerPlay)

INVINZABEEL (Rosehill Race 7 No 10)
Resumed from a spell and turned in one of the best 12th of 14 you will see at Hawkesbury recently. Was travelling well when the field straightened but wherever Tye Angland attempted to go the five-year-old was chopped out. Don't know whether he would have won but the way he appeared to be travelling suggested he would have been right in the finish. Has a good second-up record winning twice and placed three times from seven preparations and suited over the extra distance. Drawn wide but will go back off the speed and provided he doesn't get stuck too deep looks a solid bet.
BET: WIN
ODDS: $11 @ CrownBet

KAEPERNICK (Morphettville Race 7 No 15)
He's a bit of an enigma but I still have faith there's a decent race in this bloke and at the odds is certainly worth a ticket here. Has run some cracking races in good company along the journey without winning and last time out got home strongly when a close third in the McKay Stakes behind Karacatis and drops 4kg here. Will get back but there's sure to speed on and look for him to charge late.
BET: EACH-WAY

ODDS: $34 @   Bet365

MOGADOR (Rosehill Race 8 No 2)
Always had a bit of wrap on this horse and while he hasn't quite lived up to it has still done enough to win a race like this. Drawn beautifully in barrier two he's got the speed to take advantage of the gate and should park just behind the speed. Gets 2kg off for Andrew Adkins and trialled nicely leading into this when not knocked about and second to Gretna in his Rosehill 900m heat. Best form has been first-up (4-2-1-0) and looks a worthy bet at the odds.
BET: WIN
ODDS: $8 @ Ladbrokes ($9.50 OddsBoost), LuxbetCrownBetPalmerbetBetstar, Bookmaker

RAVI (Morphettville Race 8 No 4)
Good class mare who should be right at her peak following two runs back from a spell. Nice effort working home strongly behind Secret Agenda in Group II class when fourth at Randwick on resumption then ran the fastest final sectionals when ninth in the Group I Ubet Classic behind Secret Agenda a fortnight back. She'll get back off the speed and provided Dwayne Dunn can get clear running from the turn she'll be hard to hold out.
BET: WIN
ODDS: $4.50 @ Ladbrokes ($4.80 OddsBoost), Bet365, Betstar, Bookmaker
