Deep Field HK Winner Impressive

Deep Field has had a string of smart winners in Hong Kong including My Sugar, who bolted in at Sha Tin on Sunday bringing a pedigree update for his half-brother to be offered at the NZB Ready to Run Sale.

A hot favourite for the 1400m class three sprint, My Sugar cruised to an impressive length and three-quarter win under Zac Purton.

Trained by Jimmy Ting, My Sugar has a great record with four wins and three placings from eight starts.

Deep Field is the sire of My Sugar.

He was a $26,000 Inglis Scone Yearling Sale purchase from the Vinery Stud draft for L Lee and is a half-sister to stakes-winner Cathay Lady and Group III placed Extensible being one of five winenrs from Kerimba (IRE), who is also the grand-dam of stakes-winner Cutadeel.

Woburn Farm will offer a Safeguard colt from Kerimba at the NZB Ready to run Sale as Lot 161. He breezed last week in 11.02 seconds.
