First Season Sire Galleries Inglis Classic

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday February 1

It’s another sale and another chance to take stock of the progeny of an exciting raft of first season sires with the top three for Inglis Classic by representation being Harry Angel (IRE) (23), Written By (21) and Trapeze Artist (18).

Darley based shuttler Harry Angel (IRE) was a Champion 3YO Sprinter and is the first son at stud in Australia of Dark Angel, who might become a lot more familiar to Australians by the end of this autumn if Annabel Neasham’s exciting import Top Ranked (IRE) delivers the goods.

An outstanding miler that was Group I placed in the UK, Top Ranked could easily become the tenth Group I winner for Dark Angel, who has left a long line of brilliant sprinter milers.

Harry Angel had 16 yearlings sell at Magic Millions at an average $184,063.
