$1.3million for Nettoyer in Foal to Capitalist

Tara Madgwick - Thursday May 26

The big prices kept coming right through the day at the Gold Coast on Thursday with enigmatic dual Group I winner Nettoyer putting on quite a show in the sale ring before selling for $1.3 million.

Nettoyer sold for $1.3million

Renowned for her quirky behaviour as a racemare when trained by Wendy Roche, Nettoyer was quite feisty in the ring and attracted spirited bidding with Trilogy Racing purchasing the daughter of Sebring who was in foal to Capitalist in her first season at stud.

She was offered by Newgate, who purchased her last year at this sale off the track for $900,000, so she has returned a great profit for them in a 12 month period.

Mares in foal to Capitalist were in strong demand and Triple Crown Syndications got a big result with their Group III winning Smart Missile mare Missile Mantra, who was offered in foal to Capitalist in her first season at stud.

Missile Mantra sold for $950,000.

Prepared for the sale by Yarraman Park, Missile Mantra was bought by Bahen Bloodstock for $950,000.
