They are currently locked on 20 winners each with Better than Ready making his presence felt at the Sunshine Coast last weekend with his consistent gelding Northern Express posting his fourth win from eight starts in the $75,000 Bruce McLachlan Classic.

Trained by Michael Nolan, Northern Express was a savvy $35,000 Magic Millions National Yearling Sale purchase from the Lyndhurst Stud draft that has already won over $140,000 in prizemoney.

Both Better Than Ready and Spirit of Boom have large crops of two year-olds to run for them this season so expect more winners as the season comes to a close.
