Loving Home looking for a new one

Media Release - Sunday October 22
A prime country cups horse in imported son of Shamardal, Loving Home is the highlight in the current gavelhouse Australia catalogue which is set to close from Monday at 7pm AEDT.

Loving HomeA successful Chris Waller-trained stayer from the Tattersalls Horses in Training Sale almost exactly three years ago, Loving Home was imported having won one and has since added another six victories to his record in Australia.

Stable representative Liam Prior commenting on Loving Home being put on the market said "The stable and owners are looking to re-invest at Tattersalls again at the end of this month so this is an opportune time to trade Loving Home off the back of two smart victories in the Ipswich and Port Macquarie Cups."

"He has appreciated the change of scenery that our new Gold Coast training base offers and there's no reason why he can't continue on in the current good form he is in for his new owners."

Loving Home has proven effective on good to soft going and has won over distances from 1900m to 2200m. His career earnings to date equate to over $360,000 with over $128,000 of this reaped in his last two starts.

Other leading stables with horses in the sale looking for easier environments include Mick Price Racing, Josh Sargent and Tony McEvoy while breeders looking to inject speed or stamina into horses have options in the catalogue via stallion nominations to Choistar(Choisir) and Illustrious Blue (Dansili).
