China Horse Club Retire Group Two Winner

The curtain has come down on the racing career of Mime. 

Mime - Trish Dunnell"She did a great job and the decision has been made to retire her," said her co-trainer Andrew Forsman said.

Raced by the powerful China Horse Club, the daughter of Mastercraftsman recorded five wins and eight placings from her 26 appearances.

Mime was successful in the Gr.2 Sir Tristram Fillies' Classic (2000m) and in the Gr.3 Sunline Vase (2100m) as a three-year-old and finished fourth in the Gr.1 New Zealand Oaks (2400m).

Last season, she won the Gr.2 Travis Stakes (2000m) and her CV also boasts Group One placings in the Windsor Park Plate (1600m) and the New Zealand Thoroughbred Breeders' Stakes (1600m). - NZ RAcing Desk
