Magic Millions 2026 – Yulong Take Over as Biggest Vendor

Tara Madgwick - Sunday November 9

The release of the 2026 Magic Millions Yearling catalogue has highlighted the rise of Yulong as a major force in the Australian breeding industry with the Victorian based farm the leading vendor with 69 entries up from 40 last year.

They take over at the top ahead of Widden Stud on 65 with Arrowfield and Newgate next with 55 and 51 respectively.

Yulong were the fourth leading vendor by average at this sale in 2025 selling 23 yearlings at an average $410,435 and they sold a couple of big bangers getting $1.8million for a  Written Tycoon filly from Away Game and the same amount for a Written Tycoon colt from In Her Time.

There are only 12 yearlings in this sale by Written Tycoon and they will offer 10 of them and they include the second foal of Away Game, which is a colt and also the second foal of dual G1 winning Frankel mare Hungry Heart.
