Toronado Winner for The Queen

A homebred for Her Majesty The Queen, two year-old colt Topical became the latest winner for Swettenham Stud shuttler Toronado (IRE) when scoring at Thirsk in the UK overnight.

ToronadoTrained by Richard Hannon, Topical was having his third start and won the six furlong novice stakes by two lengths.

The sixth winner for Toronado, Topical is the first winner for Danehill Dancer mare Star Value, a daughter of French Group I winner Shemaka.

A Champion Miler by High Chaparral, Toronado will have his first Australian runners this season and stands at a fee of $22,000.
