Four-year-old gelding Virtuous Circle registered his first win in more than 650 days when taking out the RDA Daylesford Lesley Hewitt Trophy (2000m) at Flemington on Saturday for trainer Liam Howley.
After five seconds, a third and a fourth at his first seven starts, Bear Go Go shed his maiden tag with a two and half-length romp over 1200m at Hakodate on Sunday and credited the classy Fastnet Rock mare Lumosty with her first winner.
